Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has admitted that he hopes to play under Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola before he hangs up his boots.
The Italian international signed for the Blues from Napoli in 2018 for a fee in the region of £51million.

He has scored nine goals in 31 matches this season and helped the Blues win the Club World Cup earlier this month.
Jorginho was an integral part of Chelsea’s Champions League success in 2020/21 and also helped Italy win Euro 2020 last summer.
Despite his terrific spell at Stamford Bridge, the playmaker is out of contract in 2023 and his future in London seems uncertain.
Furthermore, he has now revealed that he has a desire to play under Man City manager Guardiola, who tried to sign Jorginho before Chelsea swooped in and signed him from Napoli.

Speaking to Brazilian journalist Ale Oliveira, Jorginho said (quotes via the Daily Star): “A bid arrived and, you don’t know, man. I’m not going to say it.
“No, I’m kidding. I wasn’t supposed to come to Chelsea, man. I was supposed to have arrived at another club. Another English club.
“And then it happened as it happened and I arrived at Chelsea, which also, hey, with history, that’s Chelsea, right, man.
“So with Chelsea everything happened very fast. When I saw it, I was already in London and I said ‘let’s go’.”
When asked which English club tried to sign him, Jorginho said: “But it’s not a secret. If you put it on the internet, you find it. It’s Manchester City.”
On if he still dreams of playing under Guardiola, Jorginho replied: “I have. I don’t know if it will [happen]. But yeah, he’s a reference.
“When I was a kid I was watching his Barcelona win everything with Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta.”
With his contract expiring in less than 18 months Jorginho has been linked with a move to Juventus and could sign for the Serie A club in the summer.
