It proved to be a thoroughly entertaining Champions League clash as the rivals exchanged openings in a game that went back and forth.

The forward met Andy Robertson’s corner and his header at the near post beat Samir Handanovic.
Salah’s deflected shot inside the final ten minutes doubled Liverpool’s advantage in the tie.
