Ranking every manager by their impact since being appointed

Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are on another level when it comes to the impact they have had at Premier League clubs since their appointment.

The following managers are ranked in order of the Premier League position their club would occupy in a table since the date of their arrival. In the event of a tie, the longest-serving coach is placed higher.

Looking at this, Steven Gerrard would have been high on this list if he had been in charge longer.

The points tally is not the only thing that reflects Bruno Lage‘s coaching work so far. The defensive organisation of his 3-4-3/3-5-2 has often been excellent even vs LFC & Man City. And vs weaker PL sides, he’s making good progress with Wolves’ ability to build up from the back.
