Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been offered to Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.
The 24-year-old joined the Red Devils in 2020 for a fee that could rise to £40m from Ajax.
Van de Beek played just short of 200 times for the Dutch side and he won the Eredivisie title and Dutch Cup with them.
The midfielder struggled during his debut season as he only started 15 games across all competitions.
This has continued into 2021/22 as he is yet to start in the Premier League. He has only played six league minutes under Ralf Rangnick, with his only start under the German coming in the Champions League draw against Young Boys.
Van de Beek was heavily linked with a loan move to Everton last summer, but a deal failed to materialise.
His place in the Holland squad has been questioned due to his lack of game time and with the World Cup in Qatar around the corner, he will be eager to force his way back into Louis van Gaal’s plans.

The midfielder’s future is uncertain with multiple reports suggesting he wants to fight for his place at Old Trafford, whereas some suggest he wants to leave the Premier League club this month.
However, Manchester Evening News claim that van de Beek has been “offered” to both Newcastle and Bundesliga giants Dortmund.
The report adds that a transfer would be a “short-term” deal. They add that the former Ajax man is “open to leaving United this month”.
Meanwhile, Red Devils forward Marcus Rashford has received a personal phone call pick-me-up from Premier League legend Alan Shearer.
Rashford has struggled with injury and form this season, missing the start of the campaign with a shoulder problem and scoring just three goals in the 15 games he has played.
Former Newcastle, Blackburn and Southampton striker Shearer, who had a fractious relationship with Manchester United after turning down the chance to join them on three separate occasions, has been in touch with the England striker.
Shearer has, according to The Sun, offered advice to the 24-year-old on ‘handling the pressure and expectation’ and ‘convinced him that he can come through this period in his career’.
The Premier League winner added that he ‘was available at any time to chat if he wanted help in the future’.
