Barcelona are keen to sign Manchester United attacker Edinson Cavani in January, but they will only do so for a “modest price”, according to reports.
Earlier in his career, Cavani enjoyed stellar spells at Napoli and PSG.
The forward netted 200 times from his 301 outings for PSG before his contract expired at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

The 34-year-old joined Man Utd last year. There were question marks surrounding this signing at the time but he shone for the Red Devils in 2020/21.
Cavani scored 17 times across all competitions and he penned a one-year contract extension in May. He has only played eight times this campaign and Barcelona are interested in him.
Spanish outlet Sport (as cited by Sport Witness) are reporting that Cavani is of the view that Barcelona “fits his interests”.
The La Liga outfit will look to sign him in January if they are able to agree on a “modest price” for the forward.
Speaking last week, Cavani acknowledged that Jadon Sancho has gone through a “tough period” at the start of this season:
“We are all really happy for him scoring his first goal. I think it’s been quite a tough period for him, but football is like that,” Cavani told the club’s official website.
“When you get to a certain level of the game, I think that people are always full of expectation and there’s always a lot of chat and questions being asked about players.
“I think he just needs to keep demonstrating everything he has shown us up to now and keep working calmly and with a clear head. Because often, the only thing that can make you enjoy success and able to keep your standards high and the rest of it, is the peace of mind that hard work gives you.
“And the perseverance and discipline to be up there. That’s the only way to keep a cool head when perhaps things aren’t quite going for you.
“So, here’s hoping he can do even greater things for the club, and I personally wish him every success and hope he can go on to achieve lots more in his career and for Manchester United.”
