Liverpool made it four Premier League wins in a row to close the gap to Manchester City to nine points after a 1-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.
Driving, swirling rain made conditions difficult at Turf Moor and, as a result, the quality of play descended quite quickly.
Burnley probably carved out the better chances in the first half but five minutes before half-time, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner was nodded on by Sadio Mane and Fabinho forced home a shot at the second attempt.
