Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl says Jude Bellingham is “loved” at the club, while namechecking Liverpool as he discussed transfer speculation.
Bellingham joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020 for £25million and has since become one of the most highly rated young midfielders in Europe.

The 18-year-old – who is now consistently named in Gareth Southgate’s England squads – has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool.
The Liverpool Echo claim that despite keeping tabs on the midfielder, ‘talk of a move is premature’.
Despite that, Kehl named Jurgen Klopp’s side when discussing clubs that may be interested, while insisting Dortmund can win the titles Bellingham will crave.
“He is a Borussia Dortmund player and remains a Borussia Dortmund player,” Kehl told Sport1.
“There’s a lot of interest around Jude Bellingham, not only Liverpool.
“But there is no bottom line and no exit clause. He is loved, he enjoys that.
“There are no signs he could leave Dortmund soon.”
Kehl continued: “It’s good that we talk about our players. It shows that we are doing something right.
“We can offer a lot at Borussia Dortmund. We want to win titles, but we have to keep the guys for that.”
Meanwhile, Lothar Matthaus believes the “serious problems” Mohamed Salah and Liverpool experienced last season will prevent the Egyptain from winning the Ballon d’Or.
“What Klopp’s superstar Salah has been delivering for a few months is of course absolutely world-class.
“It is quite possible that this will help him a lot in his choice of world footballer. But that was not the case for the whole year.
“In the spring, he and Liverpool had serious problems. Candidate Jorginho from Chelsea has been convincing for almost the entire last season and played a key role in winning the Champions League and the European Championship with Italy.
“He’s not as spectacular as Lewandowski, whom I personally keep my fingers crossed for the most. This time, however, he lacks the international title. Messi won the Copa America with Argentina, but achieved nothing great with Barcelona.
“There are no top favourites.”
