Liverpool want a Rennes forward, but not the one they have previously been linked with, while Barcelona want attackers from United and City…
BARCA LINKED WITH TRIO
And still Barca, with their January budget of £42.70p, continue to be linked with some big names…
Reports over the weekend suggested a deal to sign Ferran Torres from Manchester City was in the pipeline and Mundo Deportivo reckons it was up for discussion when Pep Guardiola met Barca’s director of football Mateu Alemany for dinner.
Barca are also said to be in the race to sign Boubacar Kamara from Marseille. Footmercato says the Catalans will take on Bayern Munich in the race for the defensive midfielder’s signature, while AC Milan are also among the interested parties after Kamara rejected another contract offer from OM.
Then there is Anthony Martial. The France forward seems set to leave Manchester United and Mundo Deportivo names Barca as one of his suitors.

DEMBELE DETERMINED TO BECOME A FREE AGENT
Barca will need a replacement for Ousmane Dembele, it would appear…
The France attacker is out of contract at the end of the season and Sport says he has rejected the best and final offer Barca have to make.
Newcastle continue to be linked with Dembele, who is aware of more lucrative offers from outside Spain.
REAL NOT INTERESTED IN POGBA
Paul Pogba is another Frenchman approaching free-agency and there appears very little prospect of a renewal at Man Utd in the meantime.
But Mino Raiola is struggling to tempt Real Madrid.
Marca says Real are no longer interested in Pogba, with the club exploring other options.
MODRIC EYES MAN CITY MOVE
Real are set to lose a midfielder of their own to free-agency in the summer, with Luka Modric approaching the end of his deal at the Bernabeu.
Floretino Perez and Carlo Ancelotti are said to be keen to keep the 36-year-old but Modric wants a contract for longer than 12 months, for which he may have to go elsewhere.
SuperDeporte reports that Modric doesn’t fancy Newcastle or Spurs, but he would be keen to play for Guardiola at Manchester City, with the prospect of then moving on to City’s sister club in New York also appealing to the former Ballon d’Or winner.
LIVERPOOL MOVE ON FROM DOKU
Liverpool have been linked with Rennes attacker Jeremy Doku, but Fichajes reckons the Reds’ interest was just a phase.
Now, apparently, Jurgen Klopp prefers Doku’s Rennes team-mate Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Fichajes says the Reds are taken with the 19-year-old’s pressing style and the fact he would be cheaper than Doku.
