Man City boss Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on Brendan Rodgers and insists “Leicester remain Leicester” despite the Foxes’ poor form this season.
Last term, Rodgers guided Leicester to their first-ever FA Cup crown, as well as a fifth-place finish in the Premier League.
They have struggled this campaign, however. The Foxes are currently ninth in the table, ten points behind Arsenal in fourth.

Furthermore, they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, and finished third in their Europa League group, falling into the Europa Conference League.
It doesn’t get easier for Rodgers’ side, who travel to the Etihad Stadium to face the Premier League champions on Boxing Day.
The former Liverpool boss will fancy his side’s chances despite their inconsistent performances having won 5-2 at City last season.
And Citizens manager Guardiola is not expecting an easy encounter on Sunday against the 2015/16 top-flight champions.

“Leicester remain Leicester,” said the Spaniard.
“A top quality manager, with exceptional players in all departments. Sometimes seasons have highs and lows.
“Maybe we are used to seeing them all the time up there. Hats off to how the club works, in recruitment, readapting and readjusting.
“Sometimes they are not consistent, but in one game, with the quality they have, anything can happen. Remains the same value I give to them.
“The quality they have from the ‘keeper to Jamie Vardy, they’re exceptional.”
City failed in their attempts to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham last summer but have no immediate plans to look elsewhere for a new frontman.
“No, we’re not going to bring in any striker in January,” said manager Guardiola at a press conference when asked if this could now be a possibility.
Spain international Ferran Torres is poised to join Barcelona last month after the Citizens accepted a £46.7million offer from the Catalan giants.
His sale will give Guardiola one less option up front. Torres often operated as a centre forward with the club short of natural striking options.
