Liverpool are at the front of the queue to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Norway international has scored 76 goals in 74 appearances in all competitions since swapping RB Salzburg for Dortmund in 2020.
There was a lot of speculation during the summer that clubs could test Dortmund’s resolve but their sale of Jadon Sancho to Man Utd meant the German club weren’t desperate for money.

However, the rumours are starting to ramp up once again with Haaland available for €75m due to a release clause in his contract at Signal Iduna Park.
Manchester United are one side to be heavily linked with Haaland and a report claimed last week that Ralf Rangnick’s side are the ‘only serious bidder in Haaland poker’.
His agent Mino Raiola seemed to play down links to Man Utd earlier this month and named Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City as possible destinations.
Raiola said: “He can and will take the next step. Bayern, Real, Barcelona, City — those are the big clubs he can go to. City has won the championship five times in recent years, significantly more than United. We all knew when we moved to Dortmund that this step would come.”
And now Sky Germany claim that Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain would be the ‘most obvious buyers at the moment’ as the ‘Haaland case remains exciting’.
Their transfer expert Marc Behrenbeck claims that Liverpool will bring in a striker in the summer, he said: “We hear that a new nine is to be fetched there in the summer.”
It is claimed that the signing of Haaland would go a long way to persuading Mo Salah to renew his contract at Anfield with the Egyptian demanding ‘further reinforcement (Haaland would be one of them), more money and more appreciation’.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently revealed that talks are “really good” between the club and Salah despite no resolution just yet,
“We are in really good conversations,” Klopp told Sky Sports. “I want it to happen, but when? I couldn’t care less.”
