Raheem Sterling added to the host’s advantage in the second half as Man City ran out 4-1 winners against Club Brugge.
Pep Guardiola’s side took the lead in the early stages. Joao Cancelo hit the post but City were able to keep the move alive. This allowed Phil Foden to score from close range following a cross from Cancelo.
The hosts were not ahead for long, though. An attempted clearance from Bernardo Silva was deflected into his own net off of John Stones.

Each side exchanged chances early on in the second half before City retook the lead. Cancelo was at the forefront again as his cross was headed home by Riyad Mahrez.
Sterling and Gabriel Jesus netted before the end as City picked up all three points. They remain a point behind PSG who lead Group A.
