Ralf Rangnick has ‘identified’ Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka as ‘key issues’ in the Man Utd squad, according to reports.
Rangnick took over in late November on an interim basis after replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was sacked following a poor run of results.
The German will move into a consultancy role at the end of the season as he helps Man Utd select a new manager and oversees the club structure.
The former RB Leipzig boss has only lost one game since taking the reins at Old Trafford but his side’s performances have been far from impressive.
Rangnick will have a big role to play beyond this season with his consultancy role having a large influence on comings and goings at Old Trafford.
And according to 90min, the 63-year-old ‘delivered a presentation to Man Utd’s hierarchy’, giving a ‘damning assessment’ of the weak links in the current squad.
"Ralf Rangnick has told the club that Maguire, Shaw & Wan-Bissaka aren't good enough for Man Utd and should be replaced."
Won't comment on the other two but fully agree that Jacob Harry Maguire is NOT good enough and shouldn't have been made captain.

Rangnick noted that the defence, in particular, needs a revamp. He has reportedly ‘recommended major changes’.
It is understood that he believes Shaw, Wan-Bissaka and Maguire – the world’s most expensive defender – ‘are not good enough to be playing for Man Utd’.
All three players have drawn criticism for their performances this season, with Maguire and Shaw disappointing after a terrific Euro 2020 campaign with England last summer.
They helped the Three Lions reach the final of the competition, but Gareth Southgate’s side ultimately came up short against Italy.
Furthermore, 90min add that Rangnick had some positive things to say about the playing squad.
The German believes under-fire midfielder Fred has impressed and ‘can play a key role in the team’.
Meanwhile, Rangnick ‘recommended’ Wolves defender Max Kilman as well as Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara, who has been linked with a move to Man Utd.
It is unclear if the Red Devils will spend in the January transfer window before a permanent manager has been appointed.
