Chris Sutton has urged Ben Brereton Diaz to stay at Blackburn Rovers amidst reported interest from the Premier League.
Brereton Diaz has been in superb form this season having scored 19 times in 23 Championship encounters.
The 22-year-old is attracting interest from numerous top-flight sides, such as Newcastle and Leeds, with his contract at Ewood Park expiring in the summer.

He has been urged to see out the season in Lancashire by the club’s former striker Sutton. Rovers are currently third in the Championship table.
“It’s an interesting one because if you are Breraton Diaz, at this moment in time,” said Sutton (via HITC). “He must be loving his football at Blackburn.
“Blackburn have a chance of getting back into the Premier League and clubs are clearly going to be in for him.
“You look at another one of my former clubs Norwich City, who are struggling to score goals. Now Brereton Diaz would be a good signing for Norwich.
“If I was Brereton Diaz, and the club has been good to him, and he has been good for the club. Blackburn Rovers are in a great position, they have brilliant momentum. I would stay and see it through.”
Eurosport claimed last month that Premier League clubs Burnley, Leeds, Newcastle, Brighton and Southampton are tracking the Chile international.
Elsewhere, Leeds have been fined £20,000 for failing to control their players during their 3-2 defeat against Chelsea earlier this month.
Several of Leeds’ players surrounded Chris Kavanagh after he awarded Chelsea a penalty in stoppage time at Stamford Bridge.
Italian midfielder Jorginho scored the spot-kick to win the game for the hosts.
Leeds pleaded guilty to an FA charge and accepted a standard punishment.
A statement from the FA read: “Leeds United FC has been fined £20,000 for a breach of FA Rule E20.1 that took place during the 93rd minute of its Premier League match against Chelsea FC on Saturday December 11, 2021.
“Leeds United FC admitted to failing to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion when they surrounded the match referee, and accepted the standard penalty.”
