Tottenham 0-2 Wolves: Spurs suffer back-to-back home defeats

Two first-half goals from Wolves condemned Antonio Conte’s Tottenham to two straight Premier League home defeats as Bruno Lage’s men won in north London.

Wolves were ahead in the seventh minute as Raul Jimenez opened the scoring.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris needlessly spilled efforts from Ruben Neves and then Leander Dendoncker, allowing the Mexico striker to find the far corner.

Wolves were in dreamland in the 18th minute as more comical defending allowed Dendoncker to score from close range.

Lloris misplaced a pass to Ben Davies and the Wales international scuffed his clearance, allowing Wolves to break into the box. After Daniel Podence’s shot was blocked by Davinson Sanchez and the ball rebounded off a post, Dendoncker rammed home.
