Where are they now? Chelsea’s 14 wonderkids from FM 2012

The 2011-12 season would be a rollercoaster of emotions for Chelsea fans but one that ultimately ended in elation when the club won their first Champions League title in dramatic fashion against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

After the disappointing and short-lived reign of Andre Villas-Boas came Roberto Di Matteo in early March who oversaw an incredible turnaround in form as he guided his side to an FA Cup in addition to European glory, overshadowing a disappointing sixth-place finish in the Premier League.

It was a Chelsea team packed with superstar footballers and club heroes, from Didier Drogba to John Terry and Frank Lampard, but as ever with Chelsea’s almost factory-like youth system, there was plenty of emerging talent too.
